Calusa Community Elementary PTA is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization supporting Calusa Elementary School in Boca Raton, FL. We serve the students, families, teachers, and staff of our school community, working in partnership with school administration to strengthen the educational experience for every child.

Our Programs & Services

Throughout the school year, our PTA plans, funds, and hosts programs and events that directly benefit students and staff, including:

• Staff Appreciation — monthly recognition events and gestures supporting over 100 teachers and school staff
• Family & Community Events — Bingo Night, the Holiday Shop, and our annual Carnival, bringing families together and building school spirit
• Fundraising & Business Partnerships — we partner with over 40 local businesses through our Business Partners program to fund school programs, supplies, and student experiences
• Spirit Store — school spirit merchandise supporting student pride and community identity
• Family Engagement — newsletters, volunteer opportunities, and a family directory to keep our community connected and informed

Our Impact

Through membership dues, fundraising events, and local business partnerships, Calusa PTA funds programs and resources that directly support our students and staff — from classroom support to community-building events that strengthen the relationship between families and our school.

Our History

Calusa Elementary School was founded in 1987, and our PTA has been part of the school community since around that time, continuing a long tradition of parent-teacher collaboration in support of student success as a chartered unit of the Florida PTA (a branch of the National PTA).
